Everything I know about Teen Wolf I learned from Tumblr and fics? And now I want Stiles to be BFFs with Tim.
They meet on, say, a site that purports to have ALL the information on supernatural creatures like werewolves and whatnot.

Given WtWS’s writer/director is a vampire with a thing against werewolves… yeaaaah. And somehow, unlike the time YJ brought down werewolves with Nair, I don’t think Tim would be quite so willing to go head to head with werewolves without a lot of research again.
Man, they would be such an awesome combo. And Stiles and Tim would probably spend hours just commiserating about how they’re surrounded by idiots, idiots, all of them. and. yes.
I forgot about the Vampire writer/director! Oh, YJ, you were so awesome.
They would! Tim would know something was up and be like, “So, um. ‘m taking these self-defense classes and I need to keep in practice, you want to try it?” because he doesn’t want Stiles getting hurt. And Stiles would be, “Uh. Sure?” And then Tim has to show him these moves that involves him being kind of handsy.
Later Derek is “>:( You smell like someone else!” And Stiles is just so very confused about everything. (Aahaha, like. Tim and Stiles talk about the older men they have an ~interest in who are completely dense and Dick and Derek are like, “You’re spending a lot of time with your internet buddy.”)

Stiles is the guy who goes around shooting down idiots and throwing out misinformation - especially when it comes to topics like, “What’s the best way to kill a werewolf?”, even though half the people on the site are writers or somesuch. (Scriptwriters, author…fanfic authors.)
Tim’s looking for information because he thinks a werewolf is killing people in Gotham, and as much as he loves Wendy the Werewolf Stalker, he suspects the writers weren’t really big on research.
And then they get onto the subject of their families and how their friends kind of suck and they are all, “BFFs forever! :D” because finally, someone understands.
Derek gets all jealous about Stiles and his mystery internet friend, and then Tim comes to visit because there was that time Stiles wasn’t online for a while due to injury while out having wacky werewolf-related adventures and Tim was worried.
…And then more shenanigans, I guess? Just. They would be amazing BFFs, I think.
